HI, I'M DAN.
I'd be honored to officiate your wedding.
My approach is pretty simple: get to know you, understand what you want your ceremony to feel like, and make sure you're comfortable with what happens when you get up there.
I’ve officiated hundreds of weddings throughout Madison and the surrounding areas, from intimate gatherings to big celebrations. And while every wedding looks a little different, my favorite part is always the same: helping couples kick off this next chapter together in a way that feels like them.

MADISON WEDDING VENUES
Some Madison-Area Venues We Love
One of the perks of working with a local officiant is that we get to see a lot of great wedding venues. From downtown Madison to the countryside around Dane County, every space has its own personality — and its own little quirks when it comes to the ceremony.

The Tinsmith
MADISON
I love officiating at The Tinsmith because the space already has so much character—you really don't have to do much to make it feel special. The natural light is great, and the team there does a really nice job keeping everything moving.

The Edgewater
MADISON
t's hard to beat The Edgewater for a Madison wedding, especially with Lake Mendota right there. It's a beautiful setting for a ceremony, and having everything in one place makes the day really easy for the couple and their guests.
Monona Terrace
DOWNTOWN MADISON
It's hard to find a wedding setting that feels more Madison than Monona Terrace. Between the lake, downtown location, and Capitol views, it's a great option for couples who want their wedding to feel connected to the city.

Gates of Heaven
MADISON
Gates of Heaven is one of my favorite spots for a smaller, more intimate ceremony. You're close to your guests, the space has a ton of character, and stepping right out into James Madison Park afterward is pretty tough to beat.
